 The old folks used to tell me that time moved faster when you got older.  I never put much stock in it
until now.  This year has moved at such a pace that it literally seems to me that I ought to be in the
middle of my ministry schedule for 2011 -- but another year has been put to bed.  This has been a
fruitful year in terms of open doors for preaching.  I had the privilege of opening the Scriptures in 50
full meetings, plus several one day events scattered throughout the year.  I am grateful to the Lord
for every opportunity He gave me to preach His precious Word.  There is nothing on earth as serious,
or as wonderful, as to stand before the people of God in Christ's stead and say, "Thus saith the Lord."
I want to thank all of you who pray for us regularly, as well as those who support us financially and
with your presence at the meetings.  Words cannot express how humbled and honored I am that many
of you give of yourselves to minister to my family and me.  The family of God is unlike anything else on
earth, bought by the blood of Jesus, inhabited by the Holy Spirit, and marked by the love of God.  This
is how we know that we have passed from death unto life -- that we love our brothers and sisters in
Christ.  So many of God's saints have shown their love for us throughout this year that it boggles the
mind.  Please know that we are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.
Nancy and I just had our 28th Anniversary, and Samuel is turning 19.  At times it seems that life is slipping
through my fingers.  But then I remind myself that this mortal life is not intended to be permanent.
God's children are to see ourselves as "strangers and pilgrims" on this earth, merely passing through
on our way to that "city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God."  May the Lord help
us to keep our focus on the finish line, and live with whole hearted zeal for the moment when we will
see Him face to face.
Our desire is that your Holiday Season may indeed be experienced as Holy Days, and that your New Year
will be blessed with the manifested presence of the One True God.
