The first quarter of 2012 is already behind us.  It has been a whirlwind so far.  I have been in 16 meetings in four states, and the year is just getting cranked up.  Our family affairs have been hectic as well.  Samuel began a new job earlier this year,  working for Hobby Lobby.  It is a Christian owned business that always closes on Sunday, which is a real plus in today's work world.  Samuel is thoroughly enjoying working in this new environment.  His co-workers are believers, and even though the work is tiring, he loves it.  Nancy just had surgery on March 26, and is still recovering from it, but the surgery went well. We are really hopeful that it will make a difference in some chronic health issues she's suffered with for several years, as well as deal with the specific issue that made the operation necessary. A number of things were accomplished during the operation that hold promise of relief from some long-term suffering that Nancy has  endured over the past several years.   Well, enough of the medical report.  Suffice it to say that it has been a rough go for Nancy  for a while, and we are very grateful that the Lord providentially brought this specific situation to light so that several plaguing pains could hopefully be diagnosed and dealt with at last.  Thanks to all of you who prayed (and are praying) for us through this.  The Lord has shown Himself at work in many ways, even in the timing of it all.  It worked out that I was preaching meetings in driving distance of home at the time of the surgery and most of her recovery, and I thank God for that. The next quarter of the year promises to be full of preaching opportunities.  Keep an eye on the posted schedule, and if I'm in your neck of the woods come see me.  It's always an encouragement to have loved ones drop in on a meeting, and especially to know there are saints of God praying for me as I go, Bible in hand, across the land.  God bless you all, and know that we love you in the Lord.      Because of Christ, Malcom, Nancy, & Samuel
